tortueuses des différents marchés toute
sa vie. Cet originaire de Saint-Ouen débute
à Jules Vallès, embauché sur un stand spécialisé en encadrement par un homme qu’il considère « comme un père », puis reprend l’affaire à son compte en 2002. Véritable tohu-bohu d’objets de tailles et styles divers, sa petite boutique ne compte pas moins de 150 cadres et accueille aussi miroirs et tableaux. La prédilection de
cet infatigable chineur au sourire communicatif ? Les xviiie et xixe siècles.
« Même si mon dos souffre de transporter ces objets, je les aime pour leur côté fédérateur : tout le monde a besoin de miroirs et de cadres et ils sont source de rencontres. »

alleyways of different markets all his life. This native of Saint-Ouen started in Jules Vallès, employed on a stand specializing in frames by a man he considered “like his father”, then taking over the business himself in 2002. A true hotch-potch of objects of various styles and sizes, his little boutique features no less than 150 frames as well as mirrors and paintings. The favorite of this tireless bargain-hunter with a warming smile? The 18th and 19th centuries. “Even if my back hurts from carrying these objects around, I love them for bringing everyone together: we all need mirrors and frames and they are real conversation- starters...”
